Happy Pride! Nice Moves is getting together this month on June 22nd, welcoming Augustus Hinton as our speaker. Augustus will be speaking about how he makes his ongoing animated web series, Closet Combat. He’ll talk about his process making the pilot, the episodes planned to come, and his journey in the industry as a whole. As always, we’ll have mingle time and free food beforehand to catch up with friends old and new, the talk, a Q and A, and then plenty more mingle time after! 

A little more about our speaker:

Augustus is an animator based in Minneapolis. Born, raised, and educated in Wisconsin, he grew up with a strong sense of practicality, hard work ethic, and affinity for dairy products. Augustus currently is a freelance animator/motion designer who also teaches motion design at UW-Stout. Telling stories through movement is his specialty, so we are excited to have him speak this month about how he’s putting his stories out there!
