February Meetup: Discord Virtual Show & Tell
This February, we want to celebrate the love we have for our community by giving YOU the spotlight! Nice Moves will be hosting a VIRTUAL Show and Tell on February 19th on Discord! Community Members can hop on and give a short 5-10 minute talk about what they’ve been working on. We welcome works in progress, beautiful finished films, and everything in between – technical experiments, gifs, preproduction, commercial work you’re authorized to share, anything to do with animation and motion pipelines!
Since this is a virtual event, if you want to present, you will need to have access to some kind of Mic and Camera (what your device has will work) and join our Discord: https://discord.com/invite/9TBzjRR
If you have something you’re interested in sharing, please fill out the following form by the deadline, February 12th:: https://forms.gle/Cgm9veD4DJHAp4Wr6
That’ll give us time to review and assign you a slot before the event. Last time there was a lot of interest, so know we prioritize first-come, first-served, and also slight curation for diversity of medium/projects! We’re using the form so that you can prepare what you’ll show in advance and can indicate what level of feedback you’re hoping for, etc.
We can’t wait to see what you’ve been cooking and celebrate the range of talent right here in the Upper Midwest!
