GLITCH is turning 8 years old, and it’s been a wild adventure filled with rad events, experimental programs, and, most importantly, you — our hella inspiring community of game makers and enthusiasts. So, on Saturday, May 12th from 6:00pm to 10pm, we’re throwing a big birthday bash to celebrate all that and more.

A smorgasbord of activities and snacks all night:

• ARCADE – Leave the coins at home. Enjoy a pop-up arcade of carefully hand-coded locally-made games. Are you a game maker? Sign up for an “I’ll Bring a Game!” ticket to reserve a station.
• BIRTHDAY PRESENTS – What’s a birthday without presents? But we like breaking the rules. Our big ol’ table full of presents will be raffled out to you party people throughout the night.
• DONUTS & BEER – Nuff said.
• PHOTO BOOTH – Channel your best birthday style with our custom photo stand, complete with classic party props.
• COMMUNITY OP – Sample a few of our monthly events with our ace community hosts, including virtual reality with Mark LaCroix and Dungeons & Dragons with Nick Miller & Martha Megarry.

We’ve been eerily quiet lately. At the Birthday Bash we’ll be hitting pause on the activities at 8pm to share the new things we’ve been cooking up and reveal so many seeeeeeeecrets.
