It’s September, so get excited for cooler weather and get excited for our September speaker! Minnesota-born Victor Courtright will be coming to talk about the journey that brought him to being an animation showrunner and producer in LA. He’ll dive into how to get an animated show greenlit (as well as all the work it takes)!

Victor Courtright grew up watching cartoons in Minnesota and fostered that childhood passion into the career he has now, working with Cartoon Network and Warner Bros on shows such as Get ‘em Tommy, ThunderCats Roar, Aquaman: King of Atlantis, and the unreleased feature Driftwood. Before producing, Victor has been an animator, a character designer, a storyboard artist, and a writer on other shows like Mad, Mighty Magiswords, and OK K.O.! Let’s be Heroes: Rad.

There WILL be pizza, there WILL be refreshments, and there WILL be plenty of Q & A as well as time to mingle with your fellow animators/motion designers/vfx artists/people before and after the talk.
