March Meetup: Work With What You’ve Got! With Stop Motion Animator Eric Bernhagen

Mingle with friends new and old, connect with the community, and learn from speaker Eric Bernhagen about stopmotion!

With animation now accessible to artists everywhere, standing out requires maximizing one’s limitations. Eric Bernhagen argues that stop motion offers the lowest barrier to entry of any animation medium, making it the most affordable and accessible path for struggling artists or those just starting. He’ll share his process for making better work because of leaning into limitations.

A little more about our speaker:

Eric Bernhagen is a Saint Paul-based independent filmmaker and stop motion animator. He makes surreal stop motion and live action films that make little sense and cost little to make – neither of which is by choice.

As always, free pizza and drinks! RSVP here: Nice Moves March Meetup!
