Sketches to Styleframes w/ Grace Pederson
Spring is in the air— and it’s also the feeling I get whenever I look at the beautiful work of our next Nice Moves speaker, Grace Pederson! In her talk, Grace will be sharing her design process using 2-3 commercial animation projects as case studies. She’ll take you from beginning sketches to final styleframes, and all the inbetween.
A little more about our speaker:
Grace Pedersen is a freelance illustrator & designer for motion based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Previous to freelancing with studios such as Hornet, she worked as an art director & designer at Ordinary Folk. To check out her work, go to https://www.gracepedersen.co/.
Talk Location:
This March 27th, we’re going virtual with our first LIVE DISCORD SPEAKER EVENT. We hope this gives a chance to connect the broader Nice Moves community in greater Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, etc, since we know driving to downtown Minneapolis isn’t always an option for everyone. All people need to do to attend is join our discord community, join the Nice Moves Virtual Events stage (up at the top left sidebar) before the event starts at 6:30, and then people can hang around to do live Q and A after the talk ends!
