Learn from fellow filmmakers and connect with St. Paul’s short film community at this Sundance Institute master class hosted by FilmNorth and SPNN. Geared towards both new and experienced directors—as well as writers, producers, actors, crew, and anyone else interested in short film—this is a unique opportunity to hear real-world stories and discuss ideas with industry experts.

Guest speakers include Andrew Ahn (Director, SPA NIGHT and Sundance Now’s THIS CLOSE); Chistina Choe (Director, NANCY and the docuseries WELCOME TO THE DPRK); and Mike Plante, Sundance Film Festival programmer and Short Film Master Class and Shorts on Tour program coordinator.

This is a FREE event, and attendance is first-come, first-served. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. There is a reception 5-6:30 p.m. Please bring a photo ID, as alcohol will be served. Free parking is available at the lot in front of SPNN on Wabash Avenue.
