Nice Moves is getting together again this May 18th, and we’re excited to have local legend Andy Lefton as our speaker.

Andy will discuss the making of his short, World Suicide, from conception to final. He’ll talk about deciding to use Unreal Engine for the project, his process of creating assets in Cinema 4D and importing/animating them in UE, and how he uses quixel megascans to build environments while integrating original models.

Plus, he’ll screen the short of course!

Here’s a little more about Andy:

Nice Moves alumni and 3D artist Andy Lefton has been involved in the CG industry for over 20 years and currently works as a senior 3D generalist and art director at MadMicrobe Studios. Away from work, he is an independent filmmaker, illustrator and musician where he runs a small record label and tours as time permits.
